Job Overview

The E-Commerce Growth Strategist will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities and implementing data-driven strategies to increase user acquisition and retention. This role is critical to our expansion efforts in the Nebbi region, where we aim to deepen our market penetration and optimize the customer journey. You will work closely with the marketing, logistics, and product teams to ensure that our growth initiatives are aligned with local consumer behavior and market trends.

This is a high-impact role that requires a blend of analytical rigor and creative thinking. You will analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and execute multi-channel campaigns that drive significant revenue growth. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive growth strategies to increase monthly active users (MAU) and Gross Merchandise Value (GMV).
  • Analyze customer acquisition costs (CAC) and lifetime value (LTV) to optimize marketing spend.
  • Collaborate with local vendors to design promotional campaigns that drive high-volume sales.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.
  • Optimize the conversion funnel by identifying friction points in the user journey.
  • Report on growth metrics to senior management with actionable insights.

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools (Excel, SQL, or Tableau).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, Social Media, Email).
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English; local language proficiency is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field is required. Professional certifications in Digital Marketing or Data Science are highly preferred.

Experience

Candidates must possess at least 3 to 5 years of experience in digital marketing, e-commerce management, or business development. Proven track record of managing successful growth campaigns in a tech-enabled environment is essential. Experience in the African retail or logistics sector is a significant plus.

Salary

The monthly salary for this position ranges from 4,500,000 SSP to 7,200,000 SSP, depending on experience and performance metrics.
