Job Overview

The Public Policy Analyst will join the Policy & Planning Division in the Ministry’s Koboko regional office, supporting the design, analysis, and evaluation of public policies that affect the North‑Western region of Uganda. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive economic and social research to assess the impact of existing and proposed policies on regional development.

• Collaborate with district authorities, NGOs, and development partners to gather data, validate findings, and ensure policy relevance.
• Develop quantitative models and qualitative assessments to forecast fiscal outcomes and socio‑economic effects of policy options.

Required Skills
