As a Renewable Energy Systems Engineer at Siemens Energy Uganda Limited, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing renewable energy solutions for our customers. You will work closely with our team of experts to develop and implement sustainable energy solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Renewable Energy Systems Engineer to join our team in Masaka, Uganda. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing renewable energy solutions for our customers, including solar and wind energy systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience in the design and implementation of renewable energy systems. They will also have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement renewable energy solutions for customers, including solar and wind energy systems
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine the suitability of renewable energy solutions for customers
• Develop and implement project plans and timelines to ensure successful project delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution and customer satisfaction
• Provide technical support and training to customers on the operation and maintenance of renewable energy systems

Required Skills

• Strong background in electrical engineering and experience in the design and implementation of renewable energy systems
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to travel to customer sites as required

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from a recognized university

Experience

8-12 years of experience in the design and implementation of renewable energy systems, with a strong background in electrical engineering

Salary

4,000,000 – 6,000,000 SSP per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
