Position Overview

Airtel Uganda is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Accountant to support financial operations, statutory compliance, management reporting, budgeting, and business performance analysis. The successful candidate will work closely with finance leadership to ensure accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage general ledger reconciliations and account reviews.
• Support budgeting and forecasting exercises.

• Coordinate statutory reporting and regulatory compliance activities.
• Prepare tax schedules and assist with tax filings.
• Review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field.
• CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.

• Understanding of Ugandan tax regulations and compliance requirements.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3–6 years of accounting experience.
