Job Overview:Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainable Agriculture Specialist to join our team in Bushenyi, Uganda. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable agriculture practices across our operations in Uganda. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to make a meaningful contribution to our company’s sustainability goals.
- Develop and implement sustainable agriculture practices across our operations in Uganda
- Collaborate with our team of experts to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for reducing our environmental impact
- Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation of our sustainability performance to ensure that we are meeting our goals
- Provide training and support to our staff on sustainable agriculture practices
- Develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including farmers, suppliers, and community leaders
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in sustainable agriculture and share best practices with our team
Required Skills:
- Master’s degree in Agriculture or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in sustainable agriculture or a related field
- Strong knowledge of sustainable agriculture practices and principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English and local languages
