Job Overview

Entebbe General Hospital invites applications from qualified Registered Nurses to join its dynamic healthcare team in Entebbe. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, support medical teams, and ensure strict adherence to hospital protocols.

The nurse will collaborate with physicians, specialists, and administrative staff to deliver efficient healthcare services across multiple hospital departments.

Key Responsibilities

Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs.

Conduct patient assessments, history taking, and examinations.

Assist physicians during medical procedures, surgeries, and diagnostic tests.

Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation.

Implement infection control measures and safety protocols.

Provide health education and counseling to patients and families.

Participate in emergency care, trauma response, and critical care.

Operate and maintain medical equipment and supplies.

Collaborate with healthcare teams for care planning and patient management.

Uphold ethical standards in nursing practice and patient confidentiality.

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing.

Valid Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council license.

3–5 years of clinical experience in hospital settings.

Strong knowledge of patient care, clinical procedures, and nursing ethics.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.

Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and emergencies.

Annual Salary: Approximately UGX 18,000,000 – UGX 24,000,000 per year
