Job Description (Key Duties & Responsibilities)
Technical Training & Teaching
The Instructor Mechanics will:
- Deliver theoretical and practical lessons in motor vehicle mechanics
- Teach students vehicle servicing, diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair techniques
- Prepare lesson plans, workshop manuals, training resources, and technical demonstrations aligned with curriculum requirements
- Train students in safe and effective use of garage tools, workshop equipment, and automotive machinery
Practical Workshop Instruction
- Supervise students during hands-on mechanical work and practical exercises
- Guide learners in:
- Engine servicing
- Brake systems maintenance
- Vehicle electrical systems
- Suspension systems
- Fault diagnostics and repair
- Automotive maintenance procedures
- Promote occupational safety and workshop best practices
Student Assessment & Certification
- Assess learner performance through:
- Practical assessments
