Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Geospatial Analyst to join our team in Mbale, Uganda. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting geospatial data to support decision-making in various industries.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geospatial technology, computer science, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. They will be proficient in using GIS software, such as ArcGIS, and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret geospatial data to support decision-making in various industries
  • Develop and implement GIS solutions for clients using ArcGIS and other geospatial software
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate geospatial data into business processes
  • Provide training and support to clients on the use of GIS software and geospatial data analysis

Required Skills

  • Strong background in geospatial technology, computer science, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficient in using GIS software, such as ArcGIS
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

At least 5-7 years of experience in a similar role

Salary

1,500,000 – 2,500,000 SSP per annum
