We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Data Analyst to join our team in Mbarara. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to inform supply chain decisions, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement, and developing and implementing data-driven solutions.
Job Overview
As a Supply Chain Data Analyst at Maersk Uganda, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improving operational efficiency. You will work closely with our supply chain teams to analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement data-driven solutions.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Collecting and analyzing data from various sources, including ERP systems, spreadsheets, and other data sources
- Developing and maintaining databases and data models to support supply chain analysis
- Identifying trends and opportunities for improvement in supply chain operations
- Developing and implementing data-driven solutions to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs
- Providing data-driven insights and recommendations to supply chain teams
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain databases and data models to support supply chain analysis

Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, including Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools
- Experience with data modeling and database development
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
Experience
5-7 years of experience in supply chain analysis and data analysis
