Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement programmable logic controller (PLC) programs for complex manufacturing lines.
- Troubleshoot and repair automated machinery and robotic arms to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate electrical control systems with physical hardware.
- Perform regular diagnostic tests and preventative maintenance on automated conveyor systems.
- Develop technical documentation for system installations and operational protocols.
- Optimize sensor integration and feedback loops for real-time data collection.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell, or Schneider).
- Deep understanding of SCADA and HMI interface design.
- Strong diagnostic skills for electrical and pneumatic control circuits.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills in high-pressure industrial environments.
- Strong communication skills for technical reporting and team collaboration.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related field is mandatory. Candidates with specialized certifications in industrial robotics or automation systems will be given significant preference.
Experience
Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, specifically within a manufacturing or heavy machinery environment. Proven experience in commissioning new automated lines is highly desirable. Salary
