Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial Data Analyst to join our team in Mbarara, Uganda. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting geospatial data to provide insights and recommendations to our clients.

The Geospatial Data Analyst will work closely with our team of experts to design and implement GIS solutions that meet the needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geospatial technology, computer science, or a related field, and will be able to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including data analysis, mapping, and spatial modeling. They will also have the chance to collaborate with our team of experts to develop new GIS solutions and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret geospatial data to provide insights and recommendations to clients
  • Design and implement GIS solutions that meet the needs of clients
  • Work closely with our team of experts to develop new GIS solutions and technologies
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements

Required Skills

  • Strong background in geospatial technology, computer science, or a related field
  • Experience with GIS software, including ArcGIS and QGIS
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

Experience

5-7 years of experience in geospatial data analysis or a related field

Salary

4,000,000 – 6,000,000 SSP per annum
